I only attended high school my junior and senior years at LCHS. However, I have made Lake County my home. There is something to be said for small town living. Thanks for the time and effort taken in starting this site and maintaining it. It has been a real pleasure looking at all the site has to offer.

Randy, I think this is so wonderful what you have done. I know that everybody have appreciate this. And this really bring back lots of memories & hopefully it will keep in touch with everybody. I did not get to graduate at Lake County, I moved end of my sophomore year. When my Dad (Coach Dailey) got a new coaching/teaching job to Martin I had thought that my world had fall apart when I had to leave the town that I had grew up in, I thought I would graduate here just like my sister did when she graduated in 1979. But I made it fine I met my husband there & I am still married to him for 27 years. I am hoping that some of you will contact me & I would loves to hear from you.

Fellow LCHS alumni:

In many ways, LCHS has been a victim of its success. Its mission was to educate the sons and daughters of a rural area to find success in all fields, some of which took us far from of our origins. Hundreds of us are in other towns, other states, other countries.

Distance and time weaken the bonds that tie us to our past and to the place and the people who gave us our start.

For the first time in the 46 years of LCHS, this site gives us a tool to restore those bonds and renew the friendships that once defined us. It gives us a means to organize and use what we have learned and earned to give back to LCHS and the students who walk its halls today. And it can be fun.

It's a key to a locked door; it's a first step. The potential benefit can not be overstated. But only if we take advantage of it.

Thanks, Randy, for creating this site. Join in, everyone.

To all class members of the Class of 89--We are tentatively planning our 20 year class reunion for the weekend of the LCHS football homecoming game 2009. We are in the early stages of development but some ideas being considered are as follows..going to the football game with signs, shakers and lots of enthusiam to cheer our team on; possibly participating in a "Young at Heart" basketball tournament to raise money for the PTO at MNES and Lara Kendall and the Booster Club; and a sit down dinner. All of this is tentative and any ideas are welcomed. Thanks. I look forward to seeing everyone :)

Thanks, Randy! I can hardly believe what you have done with this website! It will be great to stay in contact with and get reconnected with everyone from LCHS!

Also, because of your work by starting this website I received a "wink" from god. My Mom taught 3rd grade at Lara Kendall, and through this site a former student of hers contacted me regarding her. It meant the world to me because Mom passed away this past October.

Thanks again, Randy,

Gayle Clodfelter

The cookbook is great, arrived in perfect order, and I thank you very much.

Just wanted to say thanks again for the site.
this is gong to help us all.
Florida has been good to our family for 22 years now....Hard to believe we have been here that long.
Pastored 2 years in Ft. Walton Beach where many of you have spent some summer or spring break time.
Now for 20 + years we have been in Jacksonville.
I have the wonderful opportunity of serving churches all across Florida as the Florida Baptist State Director of Evangelism. Preaching and teaching in different churches several times each week.
I last saw some of you during an AREA WIDE Crusade at the Assembly Hall @ 10 years ago....and a church revival at FBC in Tiptonville 4 years ago.
If any of you ever travel to NORTH EAST FLORIDA give us a call.

Randy,
You are doing a great job on this site. I try to go and check out all the new stuff that is being added at least once a week. I, personally, have told several family members about it and plan on telling alot more. Looking at the Teacher Profiles brings back ALOT of memories, some good, some not so good but memories just the same. I hope to make the reunion this year. Thanks for putting this together and letting us find friends we haven't seen or talked to in many years.
