After graduation, I attended Dyersburg State and UT Martin. I started teaching at Margaret Newton Elementary in 2001. I met my husband in 2003, married in 2004, and moved to Martin. I started teaching third grade at Martin Elementary in 2006. This year will be my first year to teach fourth grade. I recently graduated from Bethel University with a Master's of Education in Adminstration/Supervision. Our five year old son, Luke, is our greatest joy. He is funny, smart, and keeps us on our toes at all times! He will start Kindergarten in the fall. Time sure flies when you are having fun!

I had a TON of embarrassing moments...but one comes to mind. I remember trying to trip Jacob Chadwick in the hall and actually tripped myself and fell flat on my face in front of Coach Cain's class. Of course, I tried to play it off like I wasn't embarrassed. Ha!
