Grandchilden

Montana Morehead was born in Jan. of 1997 and loves baseball, football, hunting, and 4-wheeler riding. He keeps me going and is the joy of my life.

I am also guardian to Chelsie who is no kin to me. She is 20 and attends the TN School for the Blind. She came to live with me in 2000 and is home on weekends, holidays, and throughout the summer. She loves music, swimming, her praise and worship team, talking on the phone, and most of all going to Montana's games.

These two keep me busy and I would not have it any other way.

Comments

After attending UTM right after graduation I taught school for 6 years and then went to work for Reelfoot Rural Ministry as Day Care Director. I continued to work there for 26 years. After William passed away I went back to school and got my degree and started to work in Martin at UTM. I stayed there for 3 years and then got the opportunity to come back to Lake County and work as a social worker at the Health Dept. Lake Co. has always had a special place in my heart. In June of 2010 I retired and spend lots of time outdoors in the flowers. I do miss the daily contact with all the young moms and children on Lake County.

Most influential person in school:

My mom, Ms. Wanda Hart, second grade teacher.

School Story

The Senior play of the 1966 graduating class was so much fun. We had so many laughs and just enjoyed being with each other.

Most embarrassing school story:

You know I still can not bring myself to tell this whole story but for those who might remember...it had something to do with 3 boys and some pigs that somehow got into the school....enough said.
