Tennessee Technology Center at Newbern

I received my secretarial diploma from Tennessee Technology Center in 1994, but while there discovered I had a knack for graphic arts. I worked in the printing department of Office Products, Inc. in Martin for 8 years doing graphics. In 2002 I began working for the Lake County Banner, where I am ad designer, typesetter, subscription manager, and webmaster. Not married yet and no children (except a four year old cat who thinks he's a child...scratch that..EMPORER...). My spare time is spent with my family, and traveling around the US to visit friends.

Miss Hayes, Miss Connie Riley

My absolute favorite memory from school was decorating for the Junior/Senior prom my junior year (spray glue can be used as a weapon of mass destruction). Another funny memory was changing up the wording in Miss Connie Riley's outline on the chalk board in history class.

I had a crush on a guy my senior year and decided to SMOOTHLY slip him an "anonymous" poem through a friend of mine. He found out who it was. I was MORTIFIED.
