Comments

After being one of the first kindergarten teachers in Ridgely, I left Lake County to live and teach in several states as well as in Italy and Germany with the Department of Defense Dependents Schools. After returning to the States in 1992, I finished my teaching career in Illinois and am now enjoying my retirement in Florida. We travel internationally as often as we can and have discovered cruising since moving to Florida. Lake County High School prepared me well for the many changes of home and workplace I would experience.

Most influential person in school:

Jane Milligan, my Home Economics teacher and mentor

School Story

Having been elected as one of the first cheerleaders at Lake County High School, I remember being very upset to learn that the students in Tiptonville had elected a guy to be on our cheerleading squad. That guy happened to be Norman Rhodes and that year of cheerleading turned out to be the most fun of all!
