After graduating from LCHS, I went to work. Shawn and I married in 1984 and are still together. I started college after Franklin's birth. I graduated from
UTM in 1994 and started teaching at Trenton Middle School that August. I teach 5th grade American History and am also the cheerleading sponsor. I now know why God gave me a son; dealing with 26 hormonal teenage girls is dangerous!!!! I enjoy reading, watching football, and riding the Harley with Shawn. Franklin has announced his wedding plans. He and Magan Ray will be married in a private ceremony Dec. 12. We are very excited and look forward to grandchildren in the future.
Since my last update, Shawn and I have moved back to the family farm in Lake County. I am teaching at LCMS and love being back home. Our beautiful granddaughter Eden has joined the family and she has her Umpie wrapped around her little finger!
Since posting this, I have completed my Masters Degree in Administration from Arkansas State University. I have the most amazing grandson!! Tripp is 10 months old, and will have a baby brother or sister in October!! Boy, we were shocked. We love being grandparents. We are moving back to Lake County this summer and are so excited to get back with family and friends.
