Married 14 1/2 yrs. divorced in 1979, raised my children got a career in bakery management with Wal-mart and retired from management from Sara Lee(use to be Jimmy Dean's at Newbern).Disabled, but still enjoying life,serving the Lord and enjoying family and friends.

Mrs. Virginia Hayes

One night at a basketball game, myself, Linda(Hatley) Cooper and Audrey Dale(Gant) Bargery got locked outside in the square of our school. We had to wait for someone to come to that part of school and unlock the door for us to get back in school. We weren't suppose to be over in that area,but we thought we wouldn'td get caught. When we first saw Mr. Truett, we were scared to holler for him,but we knew how much trouble we would be in if we stayed there all night without our parents knowing where we were. Mt. Truett laughed at us but our parents wouldn't have thought we were so funny. We were known as the Three Musketeers. Those were the days.

Myself, Linda, and Audrey sometimes would do our homework together. In Mrs. Hayes class we would write about the same thing,only change words and sentences around until Mrs Hayes started putting a grade on one of our papers and tell the other two to look at that paper for our grade. Caught in something else again. One year in Home Ec. Linda. Audrey and myself made our dresses alike to be in a fashion show, but they were different colors and we had matching shoes. Before we got on stage we three switched shoes , not thinking about them describing our dress and the color of our shoes. Caught again but we would end up laughing about everything.
